Tragedy - All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees and Beyond Albany Concert reviews
Great show - but with some issues
The show had some issues, but overall it was an excellent performance. The price of the tickets was way too high at $330. Many other performers charge substantially less and play much longer. It took way too long to get in; most people seemed to miss the opening act. Tragedy - All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees and Beyond went on very late at 9:30, presumably so people could get into the stadium. The NJ State Fair was happening at the same time as the show, which meant that many parking spots at Met Life Stadium were taken up. The screen was great, but unfortunately, the band played the first few songs on a small stage with no video, giving the impression of a smaller venue. The music was great, but some of Bono's political statements were not really appropriate. Some of the videos played were inappropriate for a stadium in the shadows of the scene of 911. Regardless of one's political views, it is not appropriate for a non-American to criticize the US government. The audience, including many who lost loved ones on 911, did not appreciate some of the videos. Anyways, the music was great.
